At her appointment they talked a lot about going to school and safety things like talking to strangers & private parts. It's so crazy how fast time goes! Once again they stressed that her BMI was 91% just like last year but I didn't really care what they said. She's active & eats really healthy compared to what we used to eat. I think Jaycee's problem is that she just loves food. Who doesn't?!!!
Jaycee is a social butterfly and LOVES to talk. She just loves to talk & make friends with pretty much anyone. She doesn't have just 1 best friend; she has like 20 best friends-ranging from 2 (Hadi) - 12. She just loves to play & make friends. She has a rough time sometimes when she doesn't get to go play with friends & I have to remind her that she has a best friend at home all the time. Hadi & Jaycee do play well together and Hadi is learning more to be kind to big sissy. Jaycee likes to play with toys but only if others are playing with her. If she's alone she doesn't like to go play. She's not really into a specific toy either but she does LOVE crafty things. She loves to draw, write & make pictures of all kinds. Jaycee also learned to ride her bike without training wheels & LOVES riding her bike. She likes to do laps around the block and ride with all the other kids or even along mom as she runs. Jaycee is a little smartie pants & quickly learns & catches on to things. She is a little sponge & wants to know everything. Today we had a conversation about what engines are & hoods for cars. She's just a very curious little girl. She also makes me laugh because she's learning new words. Her 2 most recent are embarrassing & jealous. It makes me laugh because she uses them in the weirdest ways. I don't know if she fully knows how to use the words but she likes to use them. Jaycee is totally ready for K to start and right ready on all aspects from writing, alphabet, numbers & even can add simple things. She's gonna be a rockstar! I'm very grateful for our little Jaycee. She's a great big helper, loves-LOVES-loves her dogs, is so kind to her little sister, has the desire in her to Choose the Right & obey. I had bought her some cute little 4th of July shorts last year & I told her to put them on to wear on the 4th and she wouldn't because they weren't modest. I was bummed cuz they are adorable on her but then again proud she is making modest choices at only 5.
Favorite Foods I asked her what her top 5 items would be: fruit of all kinds, candy, noodles & white sauce (alfredo type), clam chowder, corn dogs. Recently she has decided that she hates cheese so in essence hates pizza. She won't eat it. Also recently is becoming more pickey about her foods & particular of how it's made. It's so fun!

Bedtime This is a fight every single night. She hates going to bed but once she's in bed she's a fast sleeper. Usually goes down about 10:30-11ish and sleeps in to 9 at least. School is going to be a big adjustment on her
