First Day of School-First Day of School

The school year started after Labor Day here in WA and Jaycee decided she was ready to start the first day everyone else was.  She's friends with a lot of K and 1st graders so I guess it was just appropriate that she started the same day-in her mind.  We're super excited and loving school.  We have school M, W, Th from 9-10:30 with alphabet time, craft/coloring/art, number time and reading books at the end.  At the end if Jaycee does well and doesn't goof off she gets to put a stick on the day and after all the days are filled she gets a Frozen Yogurt Night.  There's only been one day this whole month that I actually had to get her to calm down and focus but overall she's a superstar.  She loves her school time and learning so much.  

 I asked Jaycee where she wanted to take a picture and she said, "we have to take a picture on the side of the house like Wyatt"  haha  I think it's cuz the siding?  It was funny until she got frustrated that Hadi kept getting in the pic

I love school and the blessing I have to be home with her to be her teacher.  It is a special mommy & me time that we both really look forward to.  I also love that on Fridays she goes to a "play" school with some kids her age from 9:15-11:45 and I get my special Hadi one-on-one time.  It's been perfect.

A camping we will go

 Labor Day weekend we headed with our ward buddies for a camping weekend at Mossy Rock Lake.  We had a blast and coming home I realized that it was a LOT of work of planning, shopping, packing, cleaning up for only 4 days.  I think a pop up tent can eliminate a lot of that---maybe a future purchase.  Here are some pics of our fun weekend.

 

 Whenever we couldn't see Hadi around this is where we'd find her.  She would go in the tent, take off her shoes & socks, and sit with her "key-key" since we told her she had to keep it in the tent.  It was so cute.

The day after we got back we were so tired from a full playing & eating weekend.  Hadi went upstairs and got quite-this is where I found her haha  In Jaycee's room on her couch

 First that Jaycee was playing nice with the dogs and second that she has a bit of OCD in her like mommy.  She'll be a nice, organized person.

For Craig's summer work party they decided to take a day on the Columbia and go sailing.  We were so out of place!  It was a fun time though.  Even though they have a good 30 years on us, we still had fun talking and laughing on the boat.  After was a FANCY restaurant that I about wanted to pee my pants when I saw the prices but Papa K*** was paying so I ordered ahead and so did everyone else.  It was devine.  I text Craig as we were at dinner "I'm coming along with you to all your fancy dinners"  He hates them because he feels out of place but I on the other hand enjoyed every minute.  The food, the views, the manners of the waitress.  It was fun.
