We woke up for a fun-filled day. Although I'm usually a late start lately so getting me going takes some time. She found her shoe with her birthday money in it. She had no idea what it was about. She'll catch on as she gets bigger.
Hadi chose cereal for breakfast and then I had to get some stuff done around the house before we headed to play at Chuck E Cheese. I wanted to take her to Kids Club but it's not her favorite so I opted for Chuck. By the time everything got done, baths & ready it was already 2:30!! Sheesh. I was glad though cuz she snuck in a nap. We stopped at Wendys for a quick lunch-bank-and Target for more diapers. Craig the previous day worked from 6am-10pm!!!! So he was beyond excited to leave work at 3 and meet us to play. He's been working soooo much lately so it's nice when he can relax a little bit.
There was no one there so the girls pretty much had the whole place to themselves. We all had fun and got to run around since we've been cooped up lately. It was about 6 and we tried to think of where Hadi would want dinner from. She's more of a picky eater. As we were talking I suggested pizza (although we eat it a lot) and then I said we should find eggs. Hadi loves eggs. So I remembered IHOP! And you know, it was good! Hadi loved her dinner although she cleaned off everyone's sausage. She does love hot dogs-I should've known. And of course, I got orgasmic french toast. Mmmmm....
We then headed back home to open presents & cupcakes (Hadi loves cupcakes!) We were excited to Skype with grandma & grandpa Parker again and they could be involved in her special day. They were cute to remember her and want to be with her. She was a spoiled little girl. Craig was shocked to see all the gifts. She got from us a pillow pet, minnie mouse snap toy & a cute little jean jacket. Jordynn, cousin, got her a repunzel baby doll. She loves babies! Autie Jodi & family got her an adorable purse. Auntie Sheri got her a cute Little People princesses & castle. Gpa, gma parker got her such a cute little dress, sweater & tights & a fun dog toy. And gma gpa Allen got her a dress & little cake toy. She loved everything!!!
After we did gifts she had her eye on those cupcakes. She was so excited. We ended the night on a sugar high, read a book and bedtime. We all crashed hard. It was a fun day and glad that our Little Ms. is the perfect addition in our family!!! Happy Birthday Hadley!
