For her birthday I told her we could go do something fun with our family or have a birthday party with friends over. She decided on Chuck E Cheese. I think since her birthday last year http://parkersgoeast.blogspot.com/2012/03/hours-hours.html she has linked it with that place. Her birthday was on Sunday so we celebrated Saturday. We started the day with a hike. Craig was dying to get out and with my new hiking shoes & backpack for Hadi we were all set. We took a quick 15 min drive we arrived and did about a 2 mile hike. I was impressed with Jaycee and only cried a few times for her feet being tired. It was beautiful---we really love it here!
On our hike Jaycee found this cute, little bridge and wanted to pose for a pic on it.
As we were walking on the main trail back to our car Jaycee spotted this little guy. We named her Sally the Salamander. I guess it's rare to see them this time of year---good find Jaycee.
After our hike we came home for lunch, a little nap, planning the rest of my lesson, dinner and then we headed to our fun night. I invited our friends and they met us there and let the girls play for a little bit before they left. It was a fun night!

We bought the girls this little cup for a drink and Hadi was fully occupied walking around with it all night. She did run into a highchair and cut her frenum (piece of skin between her front teeth) It was sad and my white shirt ended up with blood all over it. I guess good thing is now she won't have to need it cut when she gets older. She's such a fun little girlSunday was great as usual. It was my turn to teach from the Presidency and my lesson was on the Atonement. It went so well and I was glad to have it over. Lots of friends in the ward told Jaycee Happy Birthday which made her feel very special. When we got home our home teacher even came over and brought her a little gift. Jaycee requested a "rainbow" cake for her bday. We tried our best and think it turned out pretty good. Also she's so funny and picked out the gummy fried eggs to put on top. Out of all the candy at Winco that's what she chose. She picked out noodles with white sauce for her bday dinner and of course a salad to go along with it and then she opened her gifts. Thank you everyone for making her 4 Birthday special. It's fun having a 4 year old now :) "4 year olds" can do lots of things---as Jaycee says everyday now.
We got her barbies, bath colors, Scentsy Lion & glitter body shimmer art. She was excited for everything.
I miss that girl so much. She always has something funny to say. The cake turned out so cute! Can't wait to see you in person!
