Utah in July

Our vacation came and gone and how the family blues have come and NOT gone!

We loved every minute in Utah!  We didn't really care if we did much but visit and be with family.  With moving away you realize just how much you love and miss your family!  We did end up driving out there on the 4th of July since we would've been sitting at home any way.  We got to do fun fireworks with family and enjoy that part of the holiday.  For the next week we did: build-a-bear, pool party, family dinners, pool days in Aimes backyard, Lagoon, Chase's wedding all day, lunch with parentals, splash pad & dinner and a whole day up in Logan-one of our favorite places to be!!!  It was so nice that Craig could actually take time off and only had to do a few things each day for work.  I dropped him off bright & early the following Monday after 10 days to fly to Boise and head to his site visit for his 11 days.  The next 11 days were spent mostly with family, Bee's game, pastries from Kneaders, Cafe Rio, splash pad, park days, lots of talking, Lagoon bounce back in the rain, dinner with old friends,  pool party again, time with both parents and mostly just soaking in every single minute!!!  The crappy thing about Craig's job site visit is it was in Hell's Canyon BFE no whereville so that required no communication except an email here or there and a few quick calls from their company phone.  I did end up leaving Friday morning on schedule and drove 6 hr to pick up Craig.  As we left O-town I told Jaycee...say bye to Utah.  She cried-in turn so did I!  But boy, we were looking forward to seeing Craig!  The girls were amazing on the way home.  They did sleep a lot, watched shows and just made it easy for me.  Did I tell you that I have the best kids ever?!!!   We did stop in Twin Falls for a quick potty break for everyone, including dogs and kept on going.  I did buy an Amp to help on the drive as I get bored or sleepy.  We arrived in Baker City and felt so good to be back as a family.
Looking back on pictures it makes me ache to be back "home" and the struggle of adjusting back to our life here.  Let's just say it was a rough week last week-although Heavenly Father places good friends in your life for a reason-Becca M. is that friend.  Love her!
5:30 am  Excited and ready to go.  Only took us 11 1/2 hours.  1 potty break for all with fill up.  1 emergency potty break. 1 last fill up & potty break.
Lagoon with cousins.  Boy was it hot!!!
Daddy and his girls!  Snow Basin was gorgeous
 Love my girls!

Congrats to the new couple and welcome to the family

After running, running, running every single day....it's exhausting on a little girl.  She was out cold and fast
At the game with Gma & gpa
Playing with cousins acting like pirates
Give me a silly face-Loved this park and the whole area next to the mountain
Love my girl and her love for swings
My bestest friend ever!  Friends can come and go, but she's always been there for me.
My other bestest friends!  4 girls growing up was a lot of fighting but now it's like we are 4 peas in a pod
Love my parents!!!!  I fully regret not spending more time with them when we were just 15 minutes away.
